Terms of service

Last updated: June 20, 2026

("Terms") govern your use of avtdrones.com and any purchase made from AVT Robotics ("AVT," "we," "us," "our"), a veteran-owned, FAA Part 107-certified company based in Cleveland, Ohio. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Who We Sell To

Our products including aerial systems, ground robotics, and the PACC are intended for use by trained, authorized adults and organizations, including law enforcement, military, emergency management, municipal, industrial, and educational/research buyers. By purchasing, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter a binding contract.
  • You will operate any aerial or robotic system in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, state and local law, and any organizational policy governing your use.
  • If purchasing on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Export Compliance & Restricted Parties

Some products sold by AVT may be subject to U.S. export control laws (including EAR and, where applicable, ITAR). By purchasing, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to U.S. embargo or comprehensive sanctions.
  • You are not listed on the U.S. Treasury OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list, the U.S. Commerce Department Denied Persons or Entity List, or any other applicable restricted party list.
  • You will not export, re-export, or transfer any AVT product in violation of U.S. export control law.

AVT reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or unwind any transaction it believes may violate these requirements, with no liability to AVT for doing so.

3. Pricing & Product Information

We make every effort to ensure pricing, specifications, and availability are accurate. However, errors may occur. AVT reserves the right to correct any pricing or listing error, including after an order is placed, and to cancel an order placed at an erroneous price, with a full refund issued.

4. Payment

Full payment (or an agreed deposit for custom/institutional orders) is required before an order ships. AVT may require additional identity or payment verification for high-value orders before processing. AVT reserves the right to decline a transaction at its sole discretion.

5. No Resale Warranty / Liability Disclaimer

AVT IS A RESELLER OF THIRD-PARTY MANUFACTURED HARDWARE (INCLUDING UNITREE ROBOTICS PRODUCTS) IN ADDITION TO ITS OWN MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS (THE PACC). EXCEPT AS EXPLICITLY STATED IN OUR REFUND POLICY OR A SEPARATE WRITTEN WARRANTY FOR THE PACC, ALL PRODUCTS ARE SOLD "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Operational Risk. Aerial systems, ground robots, and command/control hardware carry inherent operational risk. You assume full responsibility for the safe, lawful, and proper operation of any product purchased from AVT. AVT is not liable for any injury, property damage, data loss, mission failure, or other harm arising from the use, misuse, or malfunction of any product, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Shipping & Carrier Liability. Once a product leaves AVT's facility and is tendered to a shipping or freight carrier, all risk of loss, damage, or delay in transit passes to the carrier, and AVT bears no liability or responsibility for the condition of any shipment once it is in the carrier's possession. Any claim relating to transit damage, loss, or delay must be brought directly against the carrier, not AVT. See our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy for further detail.

Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AVT's total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. AVT is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or downtime, even if AVT has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Intellectual Property

All site content, including text, images, logos, and the PACC design, is the property of AVT Robotics or its licensors and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without written permission.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a purchase shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. [Note: if you'd prefer mandatory arbitration instead of court litigation, an attorney can draft that clause — it's a meaningful strategic choice worth deciding deliberately rather than defaulting into.]

8. Changes to These Terms

AVT may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site or future purchases after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
